Book Description:
If the grass is greener on the other side...It's probably getting better care. Success is not a matter of luck or circumstance. It's not a matter of fate or the breaks you get or who you know.
Success is a matter of sticking to a set of commonsense principles anyone can master. In Lead the Field Earl Nightingale explains these guidelines: the magic word in life is ATTITUDE. It determines your actions, as well as the actions of others. It tells the world what you expect from it. When you accept responsibility for your attitude, you accept responsibility for your entire life.
Earl Nightingale -- the "Dean of Development" -- offers you a treasure trove of uplifting and insightful information like:
* The importance of forgiveness
* How "intelligent objectivity" can improve your professional life
* The usefulness of constructive discontent
Now it's your turn to bring positive changes to your own life, changes that will allow you to lead the field yourself! --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
My Personal Review:
Earl Nightingale's Lead the field is a must have book for anyone who desires to succeed in every aspects of their life. Lead the field provides you with a crystal clear roadmap to help direct you on your journey through life. It does so with integrity and passion for all aspects of your life from family and friends to acquiring riches.
Earl is an exceptional motivator and confidence builder. The principles are portrayed in a realistic and powerful manner where any person in any circumstance can relate to.
This is one audio book to listen to regularly. It is extremely uplifting and helps maintain a positive outlook on life. The principles conveyed by Earl are done in such a way that they arouse a sense of excitement. While you are listening you begin to feel as if you have just acquired some supernatural power or an adrenalin rush to help you succeed in life. I know that sounds a bit overboard but I am trying to as best I can motivate you to listen to this exceptional audio book. Having done so, you'll start to see the world in a positive light.
One minor disturbing factor is the introductory music to the chapters. It may get frustrating from time to time as it may sound to some a little in your face. The music is quite outdated and over the top, more suitable for a movie instead of a personal development. Although there isn't much of it, it may turn younger age groups off. So if you are referring this book to your young ones, I suggest you give them a slight warning about the music. Besides this slight disturbance the book is as close to perfect as humanly possible.
I have listened to other Earl Nightingale books and they are all good but this one is the best. I have recommended this book to all my family and friends. I recommend it now to you.
Highly, highly recommended!
