A brief glance at society, which seems hell-bent on self-destruct, sends shivers up our already shaken spines.

There are numerous efforts being made to turn the tide of immoral behaviour, much like paddlers in a canoe who suddenly find they are headed for a waterfall start to paddle furiously in an attempt to make it to the safety of the river bank.

We, by nature, tend to wait until we are fat before we realise we shouild go on a diet.

Of course it is always someone else's fault, "my mother never taught us good eating habits" or "I suffer from anxiety and eating junk food helps me cope" and the list goes on into infinity. We will always justify our weakenesses.

And hey, who's to judge, we are all free moral agents who were born with the right to choose our own life's course. Too true. Just one problem with that however, we are forced to share this planet with others who have the exact same rights. Add to this the fact that no-one was given the "Bill of Duties" to study before we so arduously extracted every detail from the "Bill of Rights"

So then perhaps it's time to look at the Duties Bill and consult the map of the river of life, showing where the rapids and waterfalls are, so as to provide the paddlers with a safer journey.

How do we do that?

How to get back our human decency and interact with respect and concern for each other must be the most pressing question on the minds of all people, irrespective of their social or economic status.

Who has a program to deal effectively with this dilemma?

As a father of five and grandfather of three, I spent many years doing all sorts of research for such a program. The strangest thing surfaced, there was none. Not in schools nor in religions. So I developed one.

I spent 35 years teaching and being taught moral values. So I decided to use this fund of knowledge and experience and to accumulate tons more research and put it into a palatable and digestable program for kids/adults to develop a sensitivity for the higher ground, for a moral lifestyle.

The need is overwhelmingly evident, but the buy-in is stifled. The reasons are clear, but no-matter, we will succeed as it is the only alternative to self-destruct. This is not an arrogant statement, it is rather a realistic statement of fact, founded on the unfailing, universal laws of nature.

This is insufficient space for me to expound all the details of the program, I merely wish that you will "see" the need for this program and come on board to promote moral values.

It is an encouragement for you to paddle your way to a much happier and safe life for all!
